Shannon Mason, PhD, DEI Strategist
Shannon, a National Standards for Excellence® Licensed Consultant, is a Search Advisor and is a specialist in equity and organizational growth. As a counseling psychologist by training, her curiosity about individual motivation and keen understanding of personal development has contributed to a successful career supporting organizations in transition and coaching leaders and staff towards organizational effectiveness.
As highly ethical influencer, her work centers on aligning practices and values.
Her areas of assessment and resulting recommendations encompass a broad spectrum including mission articulation, organizational development and culture, strategic and transition planning, program impact evaluation, resource development, risk management, financial sustainability, as well as staff recruitment, training and team-building.
Dr. Shannon’s diverse experience includes 18 years as an organizational strategist and leadership coach.
In addition she has served as an executive director, interim executive director, clinical director, researcher, adjunct professor and as a senior pastor.
Shannon has a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Temple University, an MSEd in Psychological Services from University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey.
