My Favorite Hat

Originally from the Show Me State, Leslie is comfortable in a cowboy hat. This is not her first rodeo! She brings advancement, search and marketing experience in nonprofits and community foundations on both coasts and Chicago to the Dunleavy team. As the cowboy wrangles and leads his herd, Leslie is eager to bring the team together, shepherd the process and help jump over the obstacles to success.

Outgoing personality. Never forgets a name or face. Sees the world as a glass overflowing. Empathetic and fiercely loyal. Half marathoner. Flair for fashion.

Leslie’s roots run deep in the philanthropic community. Her positions include: Assistant Development Director for the Harvard Law School Fund, Business Development Director for Major, Wilson and Africa Legal Search, and Director of Donor Relations for the Chicago Community Trust. Additionally, she launched the individual giving program for Settlement Music School and held the position of Director of Advancement for the Abraham Lincoln Foundation of the Union League of Philadelphia. Prior to joining Dunleavy, she served as the Managing Director of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award for youth in Philadelphia, where she was responsible for advancement, program development, marketing, event execution, and public relations.

Leslie earned her BA in American Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. After studying public management at Brandeis University’s Heller School and Harvard’s J.F. Kennedy School, she received a Masters in Public Management from Brandeis.
