Jaewook Shim is the Director of Finance at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), where he oversees financial operations to support initiatives that enhance the lives of older adults in the community.

He brings more than 20 years of finance and program management experience in the nonprofit sector in both Philadelphia and South Korea. His career includes leadership roles at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), Asian Arts Initiative, Gwangju Biennale Foundation, and most recently as Controller at the Independence Seaport Museum. In these roles, he advanced financial management practices, streamlined operations, and strengthened reporting systems to help mission-driven organizations succeed.

In addition to his professional work, Jaewook played a key role in establishing Woori Center, an organization dedicated to empowering immigrant communities.

A Korean immigrant living with his family in Bucks County, Jaewook is committed to building sustainable financial structures that enable nonprofits to thrive and deliver lasting community impact.
