Harry McCloskey

Harry serves as Chief Operating Officer of United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) but is best described as an Integrator.  Harry is responsible for translating the strategic vision of the UWGPSNJ into operational success, with responsibility for continuous planning, forecasting, assessment and adjustment of organizational performance.

Leveraging a fifteen-year career in healthcare administration, Harry ensures all operational and strategic plans are aligned with solid business objectives to meet the mission and purpose of the work of UWGPSNJ. As the Chief Operating Officer of Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, Harry led a complex and growing hospital and outpatient network focused on improving care and access to the communities in Montgomery County, PA.  Harry continues his commitment to improving lives as an executive member of the UWGPSNJ team. 

Harry earned dual doctorates in Complex Systems Leadership from Thomas Jefferson University and in Business Administration from Wilmington University.  He also holds an MBA from Rowan University.  

He is an adjunct faculty member at Rowan University and serves on various advisory boards.  Harry has authored several articles focused on utilizing the skills and techniques of systems thinking. As the UWGPSNJ integrator, Harry is focused on connecting the dots to solve some of the most complex and challenging problems facing the Greater Philadelphia region.

Outside of work, Harry is an avid runner, enjoys anything outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Gina, and three young children.
